Attractive, tasty meals are planned by a qualified dietician in accordance with Canada’s Food Guide; Modified therapeutic diets are available if prescribed by your physician. Nutritious snacks are served between meals and at bedtime. Resident input into meal planning is encouraged through participation in the Resident Council Meetings. Family members and residents are encouraged to attend. Please confirm dates and times with the Director of Recreation and Volunteer Services.
Dietician services are available to the residents for nutritional related issues. Requests can be arranged by contacting the Director of Nutritional Services or Charge Nurse.
Please check with the Charge Nurse on the unit before bringing food items (non perishable) into the home. For health reasons, food is not allowed in resident’s rooms. Residents and their family members have access to diet kitchens on each wing. Snacks and beverages are available in the kitchens.
